Cancer survivor

Hello everyone!

The bad news:

In short, I was diagnosed with melanoma on the 31-7-2023 and was operated ~3 days later. It’s NOT the same as getting a small mole removed! They go wide and deep to be as sure as possible to get it all.

About 14 days later I went in for an examination and removal of stitches – I thought. The message I recieved was: “As expected, it was cancer and even though we are sure we’ve got it all, you are scheduled for re-operation in 1 and ½ hour!“. Over all it was a hard time and with 3 kids (6, 10 and 14 yr old) I had a lot of things to consider and think of!!

The good news:

After a (for me) long and stressful periode of ~3 and ½ months, I was cleared and released again! It was discovered in time! If it had been 0.4 mm – 0.6 mm deeper (~0.016 inch), they would have operated the nearest lymphomas too. So VERY LUCKY!!

What now?

Trying to enjoy my life with my kids, girlfriend and my hobbies. Streaming, gaming and tinkering with computers in generel.
